Olympic, Washington

Olympic National Park, on the Pacific coast of Washington state is the westernmost park in the contiguous states. It features a magnificent coastline, a temperate rainforest, and a more mountainous subalpine forest. Before settlement, this area was home to the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe who now reside just outside the park in the Lower Elwha River Valley.
